Class Insurance

January 2011

UK & Ireland Insurance Services (Online) Limited wanted a website for their new trading style, Class Insurance. This was to provide details of their product, a quote request, contact and 'call me back' form. The site was based on a leaflet that had already been designed ready to be sent out to schools across the country.

When Ian became a driving instructor he knew that he needed a presence on the internet. The site is a simple one-page design with a contact form and some useful links related to learning to drive.

Bradford Jesus Man

November 2010

A fun site to track the whereabouts of the 'famous' Bradford Jesus Man (also known as Bradford Monk, Holy Joe and Mad Monk). It's a bit of fun with a lovely caricature drawn by Bli of Blimation.com.

The Antique Glass Studio

October 2010

An online 'brochure' for the Bradford-based stained-glass window company. The owner requested a modern site but with a traditional 'feel' to it. Serif fonts and large drop-cap's were used to meet this requirement.

New milkshake bar in Bingley that wanted a bright, fresh, modern site as a source of information alongside their Facebook group. Great Shakes is the first of it's kind in Bingley, West Yorkshire and have a huge selection of over 150 different flavours of freshly prepared milkshake!

Redesign November 2009

Personal website of MaFt. Essentially a hub to other sites and his blog. This update was long overdue as MaFt was spending more time on other peoples websites than on his own...

Mobile-device targetted Location-Based website that gets the users GPS location (if available) or manual address entry and shows points of interest nearby such as Asda, McDonalds, Car Parks etc.

July 2009

A website to showcase the work, label and shop of Rheola - a South African Arts and Crafts artisan. The site is designed to feel hand made, whilst also being easy to use, and nice on the eyes.

Hope House

Rebuilt July 2009

An updated and redesigned website for the children's home operated by Tshwaranang community centre with details, history and information for donations or queries. A fairly simple site, with a layout and design to appear childlike.

Epping High Street Surgery

Rebuilt October 2008

A profile website for Epping Surgery. After building the initial site in 2006, Chris was asked to add a customisation option, allowing the staff to update the front page when necessary. It also incorporates a CSS drop down menu, and an alternate display for less capable browsers.

PHP and MySQL powered, it features a custom made Content Management System for easy editing of pages by certain users as well as menu-management and admin functions. The entire site was completely rebuilt in September 2008 to utilise a fully CSS layout and menu but still based upon the same database backbone.

JT Photography

Rebuilt September 2008 (Now managed by J. Bollinger.)

We were asked to design a custom website to showcase Jonathan Tyrrell's photography. Chris and MaFt coded a custom php guided menu, and an automatically processing image display script. This was used to create a site that gave justice to the art it contained.

Garmin POIs

September 2008 (Original Version October 2005)

Site dedicated to providing custom points of interest for Garmin Personal Navigation Devices. The site was completely re-built from scratch using a CSS-only design for a neater, more modern look and feel. Google Maps were integrated into the POI submission form and a 'fading scroll' was used to expand and hide certain parts of the site.

Tshwaranang is a charity based in the Free State, in South Africa. They operate from a town called Harrismith, working in the surrounding area, especially within the nearest townships; Intabazwe, Tshiame and Mokgolokoeng. Chris created a style that updated, but conformed, to their original company colour scheme. He also created a promotional video for distribution and advertisement.

January 2008

As part of his medical studies, Chris has produced a large amount of notes. What began as a simple way of keeping track of them has become a resource accessed internationally. Using the MediaWiki MySql backbone, MedRevise is a free online encyclopaedia of medical knowledge and medical revision. With pictures, videos, jokes and lots of concise information, anyone can read it, and anyone can update it!

seventyseventimes (77x)

December 2007

When Punk Worship rebranded themselves as seventyseventimes I also completely redesigned their website from scratch. The PayPal shopping cart is fully integrated within the site as well as using the same image gallery effects that were used in the Jalapeno Drums site. The site is also fully W3C validated for XHTML 1.0 Transitional.

Jalapeno Hand Made Drums

November 2007

To celebrate David's coming of age (40th) MaFt redesigned and updated the Jalapeno Drums website. Criteria included being easily navigable as well as using all the original filenames to keep the already high search engine rankings. The old files were all HTML but the new site is PHP so code was used that renders HTML as PHP. The site is also fully W3C validated both for XHTML 1.0 Transitional and for CSS.

This was a site-redesign where the client was aware that his current site was turning customers away due to it's unprofessional look.

Migrant Workers Information Bradford

May 2007

Working closely with a small team at Bradford College / Bradford Council this site was designed to be a cost-effective way of distributing a booklet rather than having to fund the costs of physically printing extra copies.
